Christopher F. Wolf , MD, specializes in reconstructive surgery of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. This includes spinal surgery for degenerative (radiculopathy, stenosis, myelopathy), traumatic (fractures, dislocations), and oncologic (local and metastatic cancer) diseases. Dr. Wolf is also trained in orthopaedic trauma treating fractures of the Appendicular skeleton (arms and legs).
Dr. Wolf was raised in Delaware and attended St Mark's High School as well as the University of Delaware where he earned a B.A. His medical degree was obtained at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Dr. Wolf's fellowship training was under the direction of Jeffrey C Wang, MD, at UCLA in Santa Monica, CA.
Dr. Wolf is holds an appointment at Christiana Care Health Services and is a member of the Christiana Spine Center. His goals are to treat each patient individually, maximizing all conservative (non-surgical) treatment strategies prior to surgical intervention.
